The elegant Insulator TMBlackout Double HoneycombCellular Shades have foil lined cells that increase the insulating properties of double cell fabrics by well over 10%. With 99% light blocking capabilities they're great for bedrooms, media rooms and nurseries.
Double Honeycomb fabric traps air in its cells acting as a barrier against cold air flow in the winter and locking the warm air inside. In the summer cellular air pockets trap cool air inside reducing unwanted heat gain. The Insulator TM uses integrated foil technology to maximize the insulating properties of Double Honeycomb fabric for even greater fuel savings. Upgrade to the Energy Saving ComforTrack Plus System to form the ultimate seal against drafty windows. The notched shade is placed between two tracks made of durable high tech plastic in white or golden oak that blend with your window casement. With the help of a special bottom rail and end caps the shade moves smoothly along the sidetracks.
For in square windows: the widest width cannot exceed the narrowest by more than 3/8".
Side Tracks are easy to install. They attach to the window casings with adhesive backed magnetic strips so you can remove them to tilt in windows for cleaning.
Shades are notched to fit over the track to increase privacy by closing side light gaps between the shade and window frames.
