M Screen Solar Shades for residential or commercial use is available in two different openness factors (or densities) and 7 different colors. The 5% openness is 95% dense and filters out 95% of the light and UV. The 3% openness is 97% dense and filters out 97% of the light and UV. Denser weaves provide better glare, fade and heat reduction but less outward visibility. Colors closest to white reject 30% more heat than darker colors. Darker colors give sharpest outward visibility. All transparent shades provide daytime privacy only.

SIZE INFORMATION

The minimum size of a shade is 12" x 12". The maximum size of a shade depends on the style:

  • Standard roller - 96" wide x 120" high (120" wide x 82 1/2" high railroaded)
  • Ultra Sleek Cassette - 84" wide x 84" high
  • Ultra Sleek Plus Cassette - 90" wide x 120" high
  • Motorized Ultra Sleek Plus Cassette - 92" wide x 120" high
  • Maximum shade dimension for battery motor is 92" wide x 120" high, minimum 12" x 12"
Shades are shipped with all the necessary hardware. Our brackets are universal so shades can be mounted inside the frame, outside the frame or from the top down. Chain lengths are 3/4's of the way down the shade. Please specify if you need longer chains.

M Screen solar shades can only motorized using the Somfy Battery Operated Radio Motor with the Reloadable Battery Wand. To calculate the price of a motorized M Screen solar shades, add the M Screen shade price below to the battery motor price, which includes the battery wand for $225.00. For the cost of the 1 Channel Remote, add $79.00. For the cost of the 4+1 Multi Channel Remote add $99.00. Remotes is pre-programmed to correspond to each shade. Please tell us how you want the remotes set. Multi channel remotes can operate up to 100 shades. The last button opens and closes them simultaneously. If you want a motorized M Screen solar shades with a cassette, add the Deluxe Cassette or add Aluminum Fascia.
