Constructed from high tenacity polyester yarn, Soltis Outdoor Shades are built to last. Outdoor rated clutches have stainless steel internal springs to avoid rust. Chains are UV resistant and won't break down. Outdoor brackets are marine grade with a rust proof coating or stainless upgrades are available. These outdoor shades are triple locked to rust proof rollers and then sealed with a weatherproof bond to protect against the elements. Our outdoor shades are constructed with a heavy duty aluminum weight bar at the bottom to prevent fraying. This bar is available in white, black, bronze or anodized and is secured to the welded bottom weight pocket. On the left and right hand sides of this bottom bar are tie down loops, which are used to tie down the shade either to hooks or a Bungee cord. An optional cable system on each side of the shade helps stabilize the shade movement in windy conditions and can also serve as a tie down for motorized outdoor shades. Optional side channels are offered in white, bronze, black or anodized. Fascias in matching colors are available to hide the roller. A reverse roll to hide the roller is offered at no charge.

Shades can be motorized using 110v Motors with Radio Remotes or 110v Hardwired Motors with Switches.

They are highly resistant to various weather conditions and can support temperatures ranging from -86ºF to 158ºF. They will not stretch or lose their shape under heavy loads. Interior facing colors are in beige and brown and white.  The exterior facing side is a dulled silver finish to knock out the heat. The quality of polymers used in the manufacture of these materials ensures high color-fastness. Dirt does not stick to them due to their smooth and even surface structure. Soltis material comes 67" wide. Any shade both wider and higher than 67" wide x 65" high will need to be seamed. The maximum shade dimension is 144" x 144".

Shades are shipped with all the necessary hardware. Our brackets are universal so shades can be mounted inside the frame, outside the frame or from the top down. Chain lengths are 3/4's of the way down the shade. Please specify if you need longer chains.

This means that Soltis does not contain any harmful elements. It also reduces the amount of carbon dioxide emissions.
