Tech-Savvy Cellular Shades

Technology abounds. Everywhere you turn there are technological improvements being made to more easily and comfortably navigate the world we live in.

Technology doesn’t escape the world of shades. Many of the lines we offer in our extensive product catalog are technologically advanced solar screen solutions. You may think, a shade’s a shade, right? Well, with this series of blogs, we’re out to teach you a thing or two about what it means to optimize your home with the right product.

Today’s focus: Cellular Shades

At North Solar Screen, we love showcasing the latest and greatest products in the world of shades. One particular line we’re excited about is our cellular shades. What are cellular shades? We’re glad you asked.

Cellular shades are part of our indoor solutions that are technologically sound in their double cell honeycomb makeup. What’s unique about them is the construction of the shades trap air in two rows of cells creating an energy efficient and versatile barrier against UV rays, glare, heat and drafts. Oh, and they’re also aesthetically pleasing. We wouldn’t have you installing an ugly screen in your home. No way. Our cellular shade solutions are PVC free, and summer/winter energy efficient. When saving money on your energy costs is the name of the game, our indoor cellular shades offer the best barrier in keeping those hard-earned dollars in your wallet.
